Latha Mathavan Polytechnic College was established in the year 1996, by Karuppiah Pillai Theivanai Ammal Educational Trust  at Alagar Kovil, near Madurai and approved by DoTE, Chennai And AICTE, New Delhi.
Latha Mathavan Polytechnic College offers full time technical education and training at diploma level in various technological disciplines in co-education as prescribed by DoTE, Government Of Tamil Nadu.
In addition to the regular activities, we wish to offer formal and non-formal education towards gainful employment for the candidates, to fulfil the expectations of industries and to uplift the community.
